Summer is winding down fast as we are less than three weeks away from the first day of school (Aug. 18). Yikes! The front office at the high school is becoming busy with student transfers, new students enrolling, and current students growing impatient to see their class schedule for next year (Seniors). Seniors want the perfect schedule, easy classes with their friends, and the teachers of their choice. I really can't blame them, after all, it's their last year and should be a year they remember forever. My advice to Seniors is to have fun, enjoy the year, but stay FOCUSED! You still need to complete your high school career and do not want your senior year to cost you that college scholarship.
You may wonder why I'm writing this blog and that's a legitimate question. I've always encouraged our staff to try something new, grow, or change for the better. So, I'm going to attempt blogging! I'm really not sure what I will blog about as the choices could be infinite. I'm sure I can find things within the Goblin Nation to blog about or at least education in general. My goal is once per week, maybe more, maybe less but at least I've set a benchmark and this is blog #1!
So, students enjoy the remainder of the summer, go to the lake, enjoy the river, or take one last trip to the beach! I will be eagerly waiting to greet you on August 18. Go Gobs! #bestschoolinNA
